I am an Accredited Social Worker [AASW] based on the NSW/Queensland border.
I have a Master of Social Work [Griffith University] ; a Master of Arts [University of Cambridge, UK] and a Graduate Certificate in Mental Health Practice [University of New England].
I was among the first cohort in Australia to graduate with the Professional Diploma in Therapeutic Life Story Work, a nine-month course run by Richard Rose, the founder of the method, through Berry Street, Melbourne. The Diploma is accredited by the Institute for Arts in Therapy and Education, University of East London, UK.
I am also a practising sculptor and writer [I was a national newspaper journalist for almost 20 years], while my first degree was in Archaeology and Anthropology.
My practice framework is informed by creativity and play, which leads to many enjoyable moments in TLSW for all involved.
I am able to work with clients between Brisbane and Ballina, although I will consider other areas.
